The Beachwood clubhouse, founded by Percy Gilbert Stiebel, was originally constructed in indigenous woodland around a mangrove swamp situated 2 kilometres north of the Durban Country Club course. The clubhouse which now lies in what is referred to as the northern suburbs of Durban has undergone refurbishments which has brought it to a level commensurate with the Durban Country Club standards. The result is an inviting open plan and relaxing environment ideal for golfers, locals or holidaymakers to enjoy the popular casual dining experience overlooking the pristine golf course with sublime views of the Indian Ocean.

In addition, the Beachwood clubhouse accommodates intimate functions whether it is for personal or business use and has become an extremely popular venue for weddings with excellent photo opportunities on the secluded beach. The clubhouse offers two squash courts and change room facilities and is also a popular venue for our monthly bird walks. The Beachwood clubhouse is open daily from 07h00 and closes at 19h00.
