Annual General Meeting 2012
The Club’s Annual General Meeting will take place on 24 April 2012 at 6.00pm. This important meeting provides members with the opportunity of electing new candidates to the Board of Governors. There is currently one vacancy on the Board and in terms of the Constitution, two existing Board member’s terms of office expire namely Messrs. Richard Pemberton and Tim Pearce. Expressions of interest are being sought from individuals who may wish to make themselves available for election to the Board of Governors.
In terms of clause 12.1 of the Constitution, interested parties are reminded that nominations to the Board require that a nomination form be completed and signed by the candidate and two members. This form must be accompanied by a short CV of the candidate (limited to 75 words) and must be delivered to Pamela Warrington at the Club by no later than midday on Thursday, 1 March 2012.
